The NEPEMM - Núcleo de Estudos e Práticas Ecológicas (Center of Ecological Studies and Practices) was founded in 2017 by Renata Wie. The center's purpose is to foster environmental activities through social-economic and ecological practices to develop the sense of well-being and environmental consciousness in diverse communities. The main work front of the center is to employ ecology into people's life by fostering four pillars: gardening, nutrition, green cleaning products, and recycling, littering and reuse.
The visual identity was brought up to life through its primary mission: gardening. The Arial's clean visual aspects employ renewal, essence, biodiversity put together by neutrality, although coming up with a high visual impact. Moreover, on the letter p was applied a stroke that evokes the leaf concept, which leads to the other work fronts of the center. The kerning is to convey the aesthetic of passage, open space and air and reinforce the concept of the visual identity. The icons were created to convey biodiversity and depth into the visual identity. They also reaffirm the idea of ecology and human interaction through subtle mixes of lungs + flower + splendor, which is the center's message: we will cooperate with nature.
